Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 1/2 pounds ground veal 2 cups peeled, grated carrots 1/4 cup chopped onion 3 to 4 ounce can chopped mushrooms, drained 1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumbs 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 cup sour cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine ground veal, carrots, onion, mushrooms, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and sour cream in a large bowl. Mix lightly with a fork until blended. Spoon veal mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan and press to form a loaf. Invert loaf onto a shallow baking pan. Remove loaf pan. Bake veal loaf about 75 minutes until top is golden brown and loaf is cooked through. Let veal loaf stand 5 minutes before serving.
Serves 4 to 6.
