Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
16 ounces canned oysters, drained 24 saltine crackers, crushed 2 green onion, sliced 1/2 cup milk 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 2 large eggs 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 tbsp. butter, melted
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the inside of a 1 quart baking dish. Place 1/2 of the oysters in the bottom of the prepared dish. Sprinkle evenly with 1/2 of the cracker crumbs. Spoon remaining oysters over the crackers. Sprinkle the green onions evenly over the oysters. Whisk together milk, garlic powder, eggs and pepper in a small bowl. Pour the milk mixture over the oysters. Stir together remaining cracker crumbs and butter in a small bowl. Sprinkle the crackers over the top of the casserole. Bake casserole 30 minutes until oysters are bubbly and topping is golden. Cool casserole slightly before serving.
Serves 4 to 6.
