Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
4 pounds spareribs
15 ounce can tomato sauce
1 envelope dry onion salad dressing mix
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup light molasses
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 cup water

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place spareribs meat-side up in a shallow roasting pan. Stir together tomato sauce, salad dressing mix, vinegar, molasses, oil, mustard and water in a small saucepan. Heat to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil, stirring, 3 minutes. Pour over spareribs. Roast, uncovered, 90 minutes until cooked through, basting several times.

Serves 4 to 6.
