Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
19.8 ounce package brownie mix 1/2 cup white chocolate chips 3 ounces cream cheese, softened 2 tbsp. softened butter 1/4 cup sugar 1 large egg 1 tbsp. all purpose flour
Frosting: 2 tbsp. butter 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, chopped 1 ounce chopped semisweet chocolate 1 cup powdered sugar 3 tbsp. milk
Ghosts: 48 mini marshmallows black food coloring
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions for cake-like brownies. Fold in white chocolate chips. Spread half of the brbatter in the prepared pan. Beat together the cream cheese, butter and sugar in a medium bowl until smooth. Beat in egg and flour. Gently spread cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter in the pan. Drop the remaining brownie batter over cream cheese layer and swirl with the tip of a knife. Bake brownies about 30 to 35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Transfer brownies to a rack and cool completely.
For Frosting: Combine the butter, unsweetened and semisweet chocolates in a small saucepan. Melt over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove the pan from the heat and cool the chocolate mixture a few minutes. Stir in powdered sugar and milk until frosting is spreadable. Spread the frosting evenly over the brownies. Cut brownies into 16 squares.
For Ghosts: Pull and press mini marshmallows into small ghost shapes. Dip the end of a toothpick into the black food coloring and dot eyes on the ghosts. Top each frosted brownie with 3 marshmallow ghosts and serve.
Makes 16 brownies.
