Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 cups cubed French bread 3 cups cubed cooked ham 8 ounces cubed Cheddar cheese 3 tbsp. all purpose flour 1 tbsp. dry mustard 3 tbsp. melted butter 4 large eggs 3 cups milk dash tabasco sauce
Directions
Layer 1/3 of the bread cubes, 1/3 cooked ham and 1/3 cubed Cheddar in an 8 cup baking dish. Stir together flour and mustard in a small bowl. Sprinkle 1 tbsp. over layered ingredients. Drizzle 1 tbsp. melted butter over. Repeat layering twice. Beat eggs with milk and tabasco in a medium bowl until foamy. Pour over ingredients in baking dish. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake fondue about 1 hour until puffed and golden. Serve immediately.
Serves 6.
