Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 ounces sliced bacon, diced 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, about 6 ounces each, cubed 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced 1 tsp. dried thyme 16 ounce can cut green beans, drained 14.5 ounce can stewed tomatoes 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 8 ounce can kidney beans, drained
Directions
Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium high heat until almost crisp. Add cubed chicken, onion, garlic and thyme and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add green beans, stewed tomatoes, salt, pepper and kidney beans and heat to a boil. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot.
Serves 4.
