Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/3 cup chopped semisweet chocolate 1/4 cup light corn syrup 3 tbsp. water 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup heavy or whipping cream 4 cups milk
Directions
Combine chocolate, corn syrup and water in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla. Transfer chocolate mixture to a small bowl, cover and refrigerate. Beat cream to stiff peaks in a medium bowl. Add cooled chocolate mixture and beat to soft peaks. Place milk in a medium saucepan and heat just until hot over low heat. Fill 8 mugs half full with the chocolate cream mixture. Top off mugs with the warm milk and stir to blend. Serve immediately.
Serves 8.
