Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup pineapple juice 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
Directions
Combine pineapple juice, soy sauce and garlic salt in a shallow, non-metal baking dish. Cut shallow slits in a diamond pattern over both sides of flank steak. Add to dish with pineapple mixture and turn to coat. Cover and let steak marinate 1 to 2 hours, turning occasionally.
Preheat broiler or grill. Remove steak from marinade. Reserve marinade. Broil or grill flank steak about 8 to 10 minutes per side to desired doneness, basting often with reserved marinade. Thinly slice flank steak across the grain and serve.
Serves 3 to 4.
