Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
1/4 cup canola oil, divided
3 pounds ground turkey
2 cups chopped onion
2 tsp. chopped garlic
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
12 ounce can tomato paste diluted in 1 quart water
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
4 bay leaves
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 pound uncooked spaghetti
15 ounce can red kidney beans, rinsed, drained and heated
8 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, chopped

Directions
Heat half of oil in a large dutch oven over medium heat. Add turkey and brown, breaking up clumps with a spoon. Reserve turkey. Add remaining oil to pot. Add onion and garlic and brown lightly. Stir in vinegar, tomato paste mixture, chili powder, cinnamon, bay leaves, worcestershire, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile cook spaghetti in boiling salted water until just done. Drain well and transfer to a large bowl. Discard bay leaves from chili. Pour chili over spaghetti. Top with beans, cheese and onion.

Serves 8.
