Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3/4 pound sliced fresh mushrooms 3 tbsp. butter 2 tsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 cup heavy cream, hot 6 filets approx. 6 ounces each 6 slices french bread 6 tbsp. butter 1/2 cup scotch
Directions
Saute\' mushrooms with 3 tbsp. butter . Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Stir in hot cream. Let barely simmer, stirring occasionally. Saute\' filets in 6 tbsp. butter, approx. 2 1/2 minutes per side. Reserve andf add bread slices, turning often until browned. Reserve. Add scotch and boil 1 to 2 minutes. Serve filets over bread. Spoon mushrooms and sauce over.
Serves 6.
