Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 lbs chicken cut up 1 onion 2 Tbs. butter margarine 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 Tbs. all-purpose flour 1 cup sour cream 1 small can (4 oz) green chili peppers, sliced chives for garnish
Directions
Rinse chicken and pat dry. Peel and chop onion. In skillet, heat butter. Add chicken pieces, a few at at time. Saute until well browned on all sides. Add onion, saute a few more minutes. Sprinkle with salt and paprika. Sprinkle with flour. Stir to combine. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for about 25 minutes, turning chicken pieces over from time to time. Add sour cream and chili peppers, blend well. Cook for another 4-5 minutes. Season to taste. Sprinkle with chopped or sliced chives.
