Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Topping: 1 1/4 cups old fashioned oats 1 cup plus 2 tbsp. brown sugar 3/4 cup all purpose flour 1 tbsp. finely grated lemon peel 3/4 cup cold, diced butter
Filling: 3 pounds nectarines, pitted, halved, cut into wedges 6 cups fresh or frozen, thawed, drained blackberries pinch salt 1 1/2 cups sugar 3 tbsp. all purpose flour
Directions
For Topping: Combine oats, brown sugar, flour and lemon peel in a food processor. Add butter and pulse until coarse crumbs form.
For Filling: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Toss together nectarines, blackberries, salt, sugar and flour in a large bowl. Let stand 15 minutes. Transfer fruit to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle topping over fruit. Bake about 50 minutes until filling is bubbly and topping is browned. Transfer crisp to a rack and cool slightly before serving.
Serves 8 to 10.
