Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 large russet potatoes cut into 3/4x3/4 inch fries 1/4 cup olive oil 2 tbsp. melted butter 2 tsp. herb salt
Herb Salt: 1/4 cup kosher salt 2 medium cloves garlic 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. turmeric 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/2 tsp. white pepper 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. celery seed 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/4 tsp. dried dillweed
Directions
For Potatoes: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together olive oil and butter in a small bowl. Lightly brush 2 sheet pand with some of oil mixture. Space potatoes evenly on prepared pans. Brush with remaining oil mixture. Bake potatoes about 15 minutes until light brown. Sprinkle with herb salt. Bake an additional 10 minutes until potatoes are tender and browned. Serve immediately.
Serves 8.
For Herb Salt: Place salt in a food processor. With machine running, add garlic and process 20 seconds until minced. Transfer mixture to a small bowl and stir in paprika, chili powder, turmeric, poultry seasoning, pepper, ginger, mustard, celery seed, onion powder, and dillweed.
Makes about 1/3 cup.
