Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
8 ounce package cream cheese, softened 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk 1/3 cup lemon juice 1 tsp. vanilla extract 9 inch baked pie shell or prepared graham cracker crust 1 quart whole fresh strawberries, stemmed 1 cup strawberry jam
Directions
Beat cream cheese in a large bowl until fluffy. Gradually add condensed milk and beat until smooth. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla. Pour the filling into the prepared crust. Refrigerate about 3 hours until the filling is set.
Arrange whole strawberries over the filling. Place strawberry jam in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring occasionally, over low heat until jam is spreadable. Brush or pour the melted jam over the strawberries. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serves 8 to 12.
