Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 pound package frozen hash browns, thawed 1/2 cup + 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1 cup chopped onion 2 cans cream of chicken soup 2 cups sour cream 2 cups shredded monterey jack/colby cheese blend 2 cups crushed cornflakes
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine hash browns, 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine, salt, pepper, onion, soup and sour cream. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle cheese over top. Toss together cornflakes and 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine. Sprinkle evenly over top of cheese. Bake 45 minutes until bubbly.
Serves 6 to 8.
