Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup chopped pecans 1/4 cup butter, melted 19.8 ounce package fudge brownie mix 1/4 cup hot water 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 large egg
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease the inside of a 9 inch square baking pan. Stir together the graham crumbs, sugar, pecans and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press the pecan mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Combine the brownie mix, water, oil and egg in a large bowl. Stir with a wooden spoon until well blended. Spoon the brownie batter over the crust. Bake the brownies about 25 to 30 minutes. Transfer the pan to a rack and cool the brownies completely. Cut into 3 inch bars.
Makes about 1 1/2 dozen brownies.
