Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 large eggs, beaten to blend 1 cup dark corn syrup 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2/3 cup salted peanuts one unbaked 9 inch pie shell 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, peanut butter and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat 2 minutes until smooth. Stir in peanuts. Sprinkle chocolate chips over bottom of pie shell. Pour filling over chocolate chips. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 degrees. Bake pie an additional 30 to 35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool pie to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Let stand 1 hour at room temperature before serving.
Serves 8 to 10.
