Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 pork chops, about 6 to 8 ounces each 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 2 tbsp. sweet orange marmalade 1/2 cup orange juice 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. white vinegar
Directions
Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add seasoned pork chops to the skillet and brown on both sides. Discard the fat from the skillet. Place marmalade in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until marmalade is melted. Stir in orange juice, brown sugar and vinegar. Pour the marmalade over the pork chops in the skillet. Cover and simmer chops over medium low heat, about 45 to 50 minutes, until cooked through. Transfer chops to a platter. Bring sauce in the skillet to a boil. Spoon the sauce over the pork chops and serve immediately.
Serves 4.
