Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 to 4 pounds brisket 2 medium onions, peeled and thinly sliced 2 packages dry onion soup mix
Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place enough foil in a roasting pan to completely enclose brisket. Place onion slices on bottom of foil. Set brisket on top of onions. Sprinkle onion soup mixture over meat and seal tightly in foil. Roast until brisket is very tender, about 5 hours. Remove from oven and let stand, sealed, 60 minutes. Unseal brisket and slice.
Serves 6 to 8.
