Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup sugar 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 tsp. ground allspice 1/4 tsp. salt 15 ounce can pumpkin pie filling 2 large eggs 1/2 cup heavy or whipping cream 1/2 cup milk 1 1/2 tbsp. molasses 9 inch unbaked pie crust
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, ginger, allspice and salt in a large bowl. Add pumpkin, eggs, cream, milk and molasses. Whisk until well blended. Pour the filling into the crust. Bake pie about 1 hour until set in the middle and slightly puffed on the edges. Transfer pie to a rack and cool completely before serving.
Serves 8 to 12.
