Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 cups fresh blueberries 1 tsp. finely grated lemon peel 1/3 cup sugar 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1 tsp. cornstarch 2/3 cup all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. ground cardamom 1/2 cup heavy or whipping cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Butter an 8 inch glass pie plate. Toss together blueberries, lemon peel, sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch in a medium bowl. Transfer blueberry mixture to the prepared pie plate. Sift together flour, baking powder, cardamom and salt in a medium bowl. Add cream and stir until a dough forms. Drop 5 mounds of dough over blueberries. Bake about 25 minutes until filling is bubbly and topping is golden and cooked through. Transfer cobbler to a rack and cool a few minutes before serving.
Serves 2 to 4.
