Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 large ripe avocados, peeled, pitted and chopped 2 cups mild thick salsa, divided 8 cups shredded lettuce 3 cups shredded cooked chicken 3 cups broken up tortilla chips 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained 4 green onions, chopped 1 small green bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and chopped 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
Directions
Combine avocados and 1/3 cup salsa in a medium bowl. Mash to chunky consistency. Layer half of lettuce, chicken, chips, green onions, bell pepper and cheese in a large glass bowl. Top with half of avocado mixture and remaining salsa. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
Serves 8 to 10.
