Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 large onion, peeled and diced 16 ounce can sauerkraut 1 cup white wine 2 bay leaves 1/2 tsp. dried caraway seeds 6 whole black peppercorns 1 pound Kielbasa sausage, sliced
Directions
Combine onion, sauerkraut, wine, bay leaves, caraway seeds and peppercorns in a large saucepan. Heat to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add Kielbasa, cover and simmer an additional 20 minutes. Discard bay leaves and serve.
Serves 2 to 4.
