Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup Italian style oil and vinegar salad dressing 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 to 1 1/2 pounds flank steak 1 medium green bell pepper, cored, seeded and sliced 1 medium red bell pepper, cored, seeded and sliced
Directions
Combine oil and vinegar dressing, brown sugar and soy sauce in a shallow baking dish. Add flank steak and turn to coat. Sprinkle the green and red peppers over the steak. Cover and refrigerate steak at least 3 hours.
Preheat broiler. Transfer steak and peppers to a broiler pan. Broil steak about 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium. Meanwhile, pour marinade into a small saucepan. Boil marinade 1 minute. Remove steak from the broiler and transfer to a cutting board. Let steak stand several minutes. Divide steak between plates and spoon hot marinade over. Serve immediately.
Serves 4.
