Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 large egg whites 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 1/3 cups sugar 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut 3 cups corn flake cereal
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease 2 large sheet pans. Beat egg whites in a large bowl until foamy. Beat in cream of tartar and vanilla. Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff and glossy. Fold in pecans, coconut and corn flakes. Drop batter by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared pan. Bake about 20 minutes until lightly browned. Immediately transfer cookies to racks and cool completely. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
