Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Dressing: 4 anchovy fillets 3 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. dijon mustard 1/2 tsp. tabasco sauce 1 1/3 cups prepared mayonnaise 2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Salad: 12 cups coarsely torn romaine lettuce 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 2 cups croutons
Directions
Combine anchovies, garlic, oil, worcestershire, dijon and tabasco in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a medium bowl and whisk in mayonnaise, parmesan and lemon juice.
For Salad: Place romaine in a large bowl. Add 3/4 cup dressing and toss to coat. Sprinkle with parmesan and croutons. Serve immediately with remaining dressing on the side.
Serves 6.
