Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup Italian oil and vinegar salad dressing 1/2 cup chili sauce 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined 1 large onion, peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces 1 large green bell pepper, cored, seeded and cut into 2 inch pieces 1/4 of a medium fresh pineapple, cored and cut into 2 inch pieces 8 ounce package cherry tomatoes
Directions
Stir together salad dressing, chili sauce, lemon juice and pepper in a large bowl. Add shrimp and stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Prepare grill. Bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil. Add onion and bell pepper and cook about 30 seconds. Drain well. Remove shrimp from marinade. Reserve marinade. Alternate shrimp, onion, bell pepper, pineapple and tomatoes on 6 to 12 skewers. Brush all over with reserved marinade. Place skewers on the grill and grill about 7 to 8 minutes until shrimp are pink. Turn kabobs over and grill until shrimp are tender and cooked through. Serve kabobs immediately.
Serves 5 to 6.
