Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted 2 tbsp. butter, diced, room temperature 1 cup uncooked wild rice, rinsed several times 1/4 tsp. salt 2 1/4 cups chicken broth
Directions
Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Stir together almonds, butter, rice and salt in a 10 inch baking dish. Place chicken broth in a small saucepan and heat to a simmer. Pour the warm broth over the rice and stir to blend. Cover the baking dish tightly with foil. Bake rice about 75 minutes until tender and liquid is absorbed. If liquid remains, bake rice, uncovered, an additional 5 minutes. Stir rice well and serve.
Serves 4.
