8 ounce can refrigerated crescent roll dough 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans, divided 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg 12 ounce jar apricot preserves 3/4 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup cold, diced butter 1 cup flaked coconut
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. Unroll crescent roll dough and press into the bottom of the prepared pan. Sprinkle dough with 1 cup pecans, powdered sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Drop spoonfuls of preserves over dough. Combine the flour and brown sugar in a medium bowl. Add butter and cut in until coarse crumbs form. Stir in coconut and remaining 1/2 cup pecans. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over preserves. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until topping is golden brown. Transfer pan to a rack and cool completely before cutting into bars.
Makes about 16 bars.
