Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
8 ounces cream cheese, softened 3 tbsp. chopped onion 3 tbsp. chopped green bell pepper 2 tbsp. chopped pimiento 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 large egg 3 tbsp. cider vinegar 3 tbsp. sugar
Directions
Combine cream cheese, onion, bell pepper, pimiento, salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Whisk together egg, vinegar and sugar in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Whisk until thickened. Pour into cream cheese mixture and beat on low speed just until blended. Refrigerate dip at least 3 hours before serving. Serve with crudites, crackers, etc.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups dip.
