Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Pie: 12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature 3/4 cup sugar 2 large eggs 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 tsp. finely grated lemon peel 1 tsp. vanilla extract prepared 9 inch graham cracker crust
Topping: 1 cup sour cream 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions
For Pie: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cream cheese, sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon peel and vanilla in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Pour the filling into the prepared crust. Bake pie about 35 minutes until filling is just set. Transfer pie to a rack and cool 30 minutes.
For Topping: Stir together sour cream, sugar and vanilla in a small bowl. Spread the topping evenly over the filling. Bake 10 minutes. Transfer pie to a rack and cool completely. Cover and refrigerate overnight before serving.
Serves 8.
