Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Brisket: 1 quart prepared barbecue sauce 1 large onion, peeled and thinly sliced 1 tsp. minced fresh garlic 4 pounds lean beef brisket
Directions
For Brisket: Combine the barbecue sauce, onions and garlic in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Remove pan from the heat and cool sauce to room temperature. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place brisket in a roasting pan and brush with half of sauce. Cover pan with foil. Bake brisket about 3 hours until tender. Uncover brisket and let stand 20 minutes. Drain pan juices into a bowl and skim off fat. Stir pan juices into remaining sauce. Slice brisket and serve with sauce.
Serves 8 to 10.
