Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
2/3 cup half and half
3 large eggs
1/3 cup orange juice
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. finely grated orange peel
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
four 1 day old croissants, halved lengthwise
2 tbsp. butter

Directions
Combine half and half, eggs, orange juice, sugar, vanilla, orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Add croissants and turn to coat. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add croissants and cook about 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Serve hot.

Serves 4.
