Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
1 pound ground beef
1 medium green bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and chopped
1 small onion, peeled and chopped
1 cans red kidney beans
two 1.25 ounce packages chili seasoning mix
15 ounce can tomato sauce
10 ounce can Ro-tel diced tomatoes with chilies
shredded cheddar cheese
sour cream

Directions
Combine the ground beef, green pepper and onion in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking up clumps. Drain the fat from the skillet. Spoon the beef mixture into a crockpot. Add the kidney beans with juices, chili seasoning mix, tomato sauce and Ro-tel tomatoes and stir gently. Cover the crockpot and cook the chili 6 to 7 hours on LOW or 3 to 3 1/2 hours on HIGH. Ladle the chili into bowls, garnish with cheddar cheese and dollops of sour cream and serve.

Serves 6 to 8.
