Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup super chunk peanut butter 1 cup dark brown sugar 6 tbsp. butter, room temperature 1 large egg 2 tbsp. dark corn syrup 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup all purpose flour 1/3 cup old-fashioned oats 1 tsp. baking soda 3 regular size candy bars with peanuts, caramel, chocolate and peanut butter, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line 2 large sheet pans with foil. Beat together peanut butter, brown sugar, butter, egg, corn syrup and vanilla in a large bowl. Stir together flour, oats and baking soda in a small bowl. Blend into peanut butter mixture. Fold in chopped candy bars. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto prepared pans, spacing 2 inches apart. Flatten cookies slightly. Freeze cookies 15 minutes. Bake cookies 20 minutes until golden. Cool cookies 5 minutes on pans. Transfer to racks and cool completely.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
