Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/4 cup pickling spice 2 tbsp. mustard seeds 2 tbsp. whole black peppercorns 1 tbsp. celery seeds 2 tbsp. dried red pepper flakes 2 tsp. ground ginger 5 bay leaves 2 tsp. dry oregano 1 tbsp. minced dried chives 1/4 cup fleur-de-sel or kosher salt
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until a coarse powder forms. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
Makes about 1 cup of spice.
