1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef 6 ounce package poultry stuffing mix 1 1/2 cups water, divided 3/4 cup chopped onion 8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms 1/2 cup prepared barbecue sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat a 15x10 inch baking pan with cooking spray. Combine the ground beef, poultry stuffing mix, 1 1/4 cups water and onion in a large bowl. Blend with your hands until well mixed. Form the beef mixture into six, 1/2 inch thick patties. Place the beef patties on the prepared pan. Bake about 25 minutes until cooked through. Meanwhile, coat the inside of a large skillet with cooking spray. Add mushrooms and cook about 5 minutes over medium high heat until browned, stirring frequently.
