Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Corned Beef: 3 1/2 to 4 pound boneless corned beef brisket6 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed 1 1/4 tsp. pickling spice 2 tsp. whole black peppercorns 2 cups water
Glaze: 2 tbsp. orange marmalade 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
Directions
For Corned Beef: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place brisket in a roasting pan. Sprinkle with garlic, pickling spice and peppercorns. Add water to pan and cover with foil. Braise brisket about 4 hours until very tender. Remove brisket from oven and preheat broiler. Transfer brisket to a rack. Place rack in a broilerproof pan. Brush brisket with glaze. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes until glaze is bubbly and lightly browned. Slice brisket diagonally against the grain into thin slices.
For Glaze: Stir together marmalade and Dijon until well combined.
Serves 8.
