Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 cups finely shredded green cabbage 3 cups finely shredded red cabbage 1 medium red apple, cored and diced 1/3 cup prepared mayonnaise 1/4 cup apple cider or apple juice 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 tsp. paprika
Directions
Combine green cabbage, red cabbage and diced apple in a large bowl. Stir together mayonnaise, apple juice or cider, salt, sugar and pepper in a small bowl. Stir into cabbage mixture until well coated. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
To Serve: Mound salad in a shallow bowl. Place walnuts in a ring on top of salad. Sprinkle paprika over and serve.
Serves 6.
