Coca Cola Braised Pork Stew Recipe Rating: N/A

Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 pounds boneless country style pork ribs, cut into 2 inch cubes
2 cups Coca Cola
6 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. peeled, minced fresh ginger
1 bunch green onions, chopped, divided
hot cooked rice

Directions
Heat oil in a large pot over medium high heat. Add pork and brown on all sides, stirring frequently. Remove the pan from the heat and add Coca Cola to the pot. Return the pan to the heat and bring the cola to a boil. Cover pot and reduce heat to medium low. Simmer pork 30 minutes. Add garlic, soy sauce, ginger an 1/2 of the green onions to the pot. Cover and simmer an additional 50 to 60 minutes until pork is tender. Uncover stew and simmer an additional 10 minutes until thickened. Spoon hot rice into bowls and ladle the stew over. Sprinkle with the remaining green onions and serve.

Serves 4 to 6.
