Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper 2 tbsp. margarine 16 ounces Velveeta, cubed, divided 1/2 cup milk 2 cups cooked, drained elbow macaroni 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine onion, bell pepper and margarine in a medium skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 5 to 8 minutes. Add 12 ounces Velveeta and milk. Stir mixture over low heat until Velveeta is melted. Stir in macaroni. Transfer mixture into a buttered 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with parmesan. Bake 20 minutes. Sprinkle remaining 4 ounces Velveeta over top and bake 5 to 10 minutes until beginning to melt. Let stand a few minutes before serving.
Serves 6.
