Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
1/4 pound bacon, chopped
12 ounces canned clams, minced, drained, juice reserved
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1/3 cup fine chopped red bell pepper
3 green onions, finely chopped
2 tbsp. minced fresh basil
1 tsp. prepared horseradish, drained
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
3/4 tsp. worcestershire sauce
tabasco to taste

Directions
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Whisk together cream cheese and sour cream. Whisk in 2 tbsp. reserved clam juice. Stir in clams, bacon, bell pepper, onions, basil, horseradish, lemon juice, worcestershire and tabasco. Serve at room temperature.

Makes about 2 cups.
