Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup butter 3 ounces chopped unsweetened chocolate 1 1/4 cups sugar 2 large eggs 1/2 cup all purpose flour 2/3 cup chopped toasted pecans 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, cut into chunks 2 ounces milk chocolate, cut into chunks
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a 9x9 inch baking pan. Melt butter with unsweetened chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Transfer chocolate mixture to a large bowl and whisk in sugar and eggs. Mix in flour. Stir in pecans and chocolate chunks. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake about 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs attached. Cool in pan on rack. Cut into squares.
Makes about 16 brownies.
