Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 sheet frozen, thawed puff pastry 1 large, ripe banana, peeled and sliced 1 ounce finely chopped bittersweet chocolate 1/4 cup toasted, chopped pecans 2 tsp. sugar 1 tbsp. butter, diced
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Roll out puff pastry to a 10x5 inch rectangle. Cut in half crosswise. Place squares 2 inches apart on a sheet pan. Sprinkle squares with chocolate, leaving a 1/2 inch border. Place banana slices over chocolate. Sprinkle bananas with pecans, sugar and butter. Refrigerate 10 minutes. Bake 10 to 15 minutes until pastry is golden brown and cooked through. Cool slightly before serving.
Serves 2.
