1 cup all purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/3 cup softened butter 1/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup brown sugar 1 large egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together flour and baking soda in a small bowl. Cream butter 30 second in a medium bowl. Add both sugars and beat until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add peanut butter and chocolate syrup and beat until well combined. Reduce mixer to low. Add flour mixture in 3 additions, beating well after each addition. Drop cookie dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes until cookies are set and tops are dry. Remove pan from the oven and let cookies stand 1 minute. Transfer cookies to a rack and cool completely.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
