Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 ounces chopped semisweet chocolate 1/3 cup milk, divided 2 tbsp. sugar 3 ounces cream cheese 2 large eggs, whites and yolks separated 2 tbsp. light rum 1/2 cup heavy or whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks 1 prepared 9 inch graham cracker pie crust 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds additional whipped cream
Directions
Melt chocolate with 2 tbsp. milk in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth and set aside. Beat together cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl until fluffy. Add yolks and blend well. Add chocolate mixture, rum and remaining milk and beat until smooth. Beat egg whites in a small bowl to stiff peaks. Fold into chocolate mixture. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon into crust and refrigerate until firm. Garnish with almonds and additional whipped cream before serving.
Serves 8.
