Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
24 graham crackers, divided 3/4 cup butter, diced 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/8 tsp. salt 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line the inside of a 15x10 inch baking pan with foil. Fit 12 graham crackers tightly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Melt the butter in a medium pan over medium low heat. Add brown sugar and salt and whisk 1 minute until smooth. Pour the butter mixture over the graham crackers and spread evenly. Bake about 10 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top and bake 1 minute. Gently spread the melted chocolate with a spatula. Sprinkle the nuts over the chocolate. Fit the remaining graham crackers into the top of the pan, pressing gently to adhere. Transfer pan to a rack and cool s'mores 30 minutes. Place pan in the freezer and let chill about 10 to 15 minutes until filling is firm. Remove s'mores from the pan, using foil as an aid. Cut or break s'mores into serving size pieces. Store in an airtight container.
Makes 12 s'mores.
