Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup light corn syrup 1 cup sugar 1 cup creamy peanut butter 6 cups crisp rice cereal 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup butterscotch chips
Directions
Grease the inside of a 13x9 inch baking pan. Combine corn syrup and sugar in a large saucepan over medium heat. Heat to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in peanut butter. Add rice cereal and stir until well coated. Spread the cereal mixture evenly in the prepared pan. Combine the chocolate and butterscotch chips in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly until melted and smooth. Spread the chocolate butterscotch mixture over the cereal layer. Let cool at least 45 minutes until firm before cutting into bars.
Makes about 2 dozen bars.
