Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Marinade: 1 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup honey 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. minced garlic 1 tsp. ground ginger 1 cup water
Fajitas: 2 pounds sirloin or flank steak 1 red bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and sliced into thin strips 1 green bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and sliced into thin strips 1 large onion, peeled and thinly sliced warm flour tortillas
Directions
For Marinade: Stir together soy sauce, honey, worcestershire, garlic, ginger and water in a large bowl. Reserve 1/4 cup.
For Fajitas: Combine steak with prepared marinade. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Drain meat and slice into thin strips. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak strips, bell peppers and onion. Stir-fry until meat is cooked through, adding reserved 1/4 cup marinade as needed to prevent sticking. Serve with warmed flour tortillas.
Serves 2.
