Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 pound ground beef 28 ounce can diced tomatoes, drained 21 ounce jar spaghetti sauce 2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. chili powder 1/8 tsp. pepper 8 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni
Directions
Combine garlic, green pepper, onion and ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook until beef is lightly browned, stirring frequently and breaking up clumps. Drain off the fat from the skillet. Add tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, salt, chili powder and pepper and heat to a boil, stirring occasionally. Stir in macaroni. Reduce heat to low and simmer casserole about 20 minutes until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. Serve casserole immediately.
Serves 4 to 6.
